“The human voice is the most beautiful instrument of all, but the most difficult to play"
- Richard Strauss, German composer
- Richard Strauss, German composer

While singing has always made me feel like my most authentic self, it has not always been easy and has required the guidance of a village of voice teachers and coaches. Mentors including Michael Sylvester, Jennifer and Darrell Babidge, Robert Breault, Julia Faulkner, and Matthew Chellis all generously shared their knowledge of the voice and helped me build a personal understanding of my own technique. As a professional singer and teacher, I continue to spend time listening to colleagues, reading cutting edge articles from voice scientists, and studying the treatises of old bel canto masters. After completing degrees at University of Utah (BM-Voice) and Roosevelt University (MM-Voice), I have taught privately and at organizations including Drake University, Central College, and Chicago School of Music.
I am currently based in Minneapolis and lead a studio of private students ranging in age from high school to young professional. With many years of experience teaching and performing, the majority of my instruction focuses on techniques and concepts used in classical music and musical theater. Past students have been accepted into and earned scholarship at undergraduate and graduate music schools throughout the country.
